On December 22, 2022, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the Association of Non-Public Preschool Education, conducted training sessions on “Designing and Organizing STEM Educational Activities for Preschool Children.” These sessions were held at various locations in Ho Chi Minh City, including Saigon South Kindergarten in District 7, Kindergarten 19/5 in District 1, Happy House Kindergarten in Tan Phu District, and Mang Non 1 Kindergarten in District 10, which represents the four professional clusters in the city.
The training, led by Mr. Do Duy Hung and Ms. Bui Thanh Anh from the Association of Non-public Preschool Education, provided valuable insights into applying STEM principles at the preschool level. The workshops were aimed at enhancing teachers’ understanding of STEM education and its benefits for young learners. Educators and administrators participated in discussions and sought advice to effectively incorporate STEM activities into their curricula.

Ms. Bui Thanh Anh highlighted the numerous benefits of STEM education for preschoolers.
